Light pollution is becoming more of a factor with many municipalities throughout America. Curbing Light spillage into the night sky or neighboring areas is becoming more of a problem. "Night sky friendly" up light reflectors are available for all acorn globes. Reflectors decrease upward light pollution while increasing the amount of light directed downward to ground level. Type III or type V borosilicate glass refractors are available to more evenly distribute the light utilization while cutting down on glare.
